Groove connection definition:

Groove type connection is also called groove clamp type connection. It is a new type of connection method developed by my country in the 1990 s based on foreign technology. It is processed into annular grooves at pipe connections such as pipes and pipe fittings. A kit-type quick connection method composed of pieces, rubber sealing rings and fasteners.

The working principle of the groove clamp is that the medium in the pipeline enters the C- type rubber ring, and the rubber ring is compressed in the pipe clamp cavity by the pressure of the medium itself to ensure the sealing. In addition, the size of the rubber ring is slightly larger than the cavity formed by the pipe clamp and the pipe. After the bolt is tightened, the rubber ring is further squeezed, and the sealing effect is further strengthened.
