[Editor's note] According to the requirements of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association's "Notice on Printing and Distributing the Second Batch of Association Standards Formulation and Revision Plan in 2021" (Jian Ber Xie Zi [2021] No. 20), "Flanges for Thin-walled Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings and Flange Joints" (hereinafter referred to as "Standards") have been included in the standard compilation plan of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, zhejiang Zhengkang Industrial Co., Ltd. and East China Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. are the chief editors, and work with relevant units to complete the preparation and start-up of the standard.

On August 16, the compilation group of the standard "flanges and flange joints for thin-walled stainless steel pipe fittings" of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association was established and the first working meeting was held in Wenzhou in the form of offline and online. The meeting was presided over by Tao Jun, Secretary-General of the Building Water Supply and Drainage Professional Committee of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association (hereinafter referred to as the special committee), Huang Jiancong, Chairman of Zhejiang Zhengkang Industrial Co., Ltd., Xu Yang, Chairman of the special committee, and East China Construction Group Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to: huajian Group) Executive Deputy Chief Engineer Wang Pingshan, China Architecture Northwest Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. As the first editor-in-chief of the Standard, Chairman Huang Jiancong said: Zhengkang focuses on dedicating new scientific and technological metal pipelines to the world and is a well-known provider of new pipeline solutions at home and abroad. As an industry representative, Zhengkang once again served as the first editor-in-chief unit of the standard, which is a full affirmation of Zhengkang's technology and strength. At the same time, we must also thank leaders at all levels and all colleagues for their strong support to Zhengkang. Today's meeting is attended by high-quality enterprises in the domestic thin-walled stainless steel pipeline industry. In the process of compiling the standard, Zhengkang will go all out and make joint efforts with all the members of the compilation team to strictly formulate the standard into a good standard with advanced, scientific, reasonable and practical nature.

At the meeting, Tao Jun, Secretary General of the Special Committee, read out the list of the "Standards" compilation group and announced the establishment of the compilation group. Later, Yu Tengzhong, chief engineer of Zhengkang Technology, introduced the background and significance of the compilation of the Standard, explained in detail the outline of the standard compilation, the arrangement of the work plan, the process of legalization of the Association's standards, and explained the intellectual property rights and other issues involved in the standard formulation.

At the meeting, the participants had a heated discussion on the key and difficult contents of the standard preparation outline, and reached a consensus on the preparation of the main technical contents, the division of labor among the members of the preparation team and the arrangement of the work schedule. The meeting requested that after this working meeting, all relevant units and writers participating in the preparation of the "Standards" should complete the preparation of the standards at each stage according to the work plan. In the preparation of the Standard, the preparation team shall strictly implement the relevant provisions of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, clarify the tasks, strengthen communication, work together, ensure quality, and complete the preparation of this standard as planned.
