The airport was established in 2013 and will be officially opened to traffic at the end of September 2021. Jiaozhou Airport is the third domestic and international integrated airport in Shandong Province, China.
Jiaozhou Airport covers an area of about 2710 mu, with a runway 2600 meters long and 45 meters wide and a terminal building with an area of 6400 square meters.
